The sun was shining and so was the excitement at this year’s Kids’ Chance of Illinois Chicagoland Golf Fundraiser, where golfers, sponsors, and volunteers came together to raise more than $40,000 in support of children whose parents have been severely or catastrophically injured on the job.

Despite the summer heat, the energy on the course was buzzing from the start. The morning kicked off with a lively bloody mary bar, a putting green contest, and plenty of networking opportunities. Volunteers, decked out in bright Hawaiian shirts, were easy to spot and ready to help ensure a smooth and fun day for all participants.

Throughout the day, golfers took part in a variety of on-course contests, engaged with our incredible event sponsors, and shared in the camaraderie that defines the Kids’ Chance community.

The day wrapped up with a delicious dinner, where guests cooled off and tried their luck in the bag raffle.

One of the most meaningful moments came when a Kids’ Chance scholarship recipient, Marek Skotnicki, shared his family’s story. He spoke about how Kids’ Chance has made it possible for him and his sibling to pursue their educational dreams thanks to the generosity of supporters like you.
